I love crochet texture and anytime I can create a crochet project with gorgeous crochet texture it is so much fun. I used our Leither Co. Dragonfly Worsted to colorway to create the Dragonfly Square which was featured in our August 2019 Leither Collection Subscription Box.

Grab a skein or two of the Dragonfly Hand Dyed Yarn
· Gauge: 16 Stitches and 12 Rows = 4”x4” (hdc)
· Finished Blocked Size: 12×12
· Chain 1 will NOT count as a stitch
Dragonfly Crochet Square
Row 1: Foundation sc 53
Row 2: Ch 1 and turn, 1 dc in same st, skip next st, *4 dc in next st, skip next 4 sts; repeat from*, across, until the last 3 sts, 4 dc in next st, skip next st, 1 dc in last st. – 54 dc
Row 3: Ch 1 and turn, 1 dc in same st, *skip next 3 sts, 1 dc in next st, ch 2, 1 dc in 1st skipped st; repeat from*, across, 1 dc in last st. – 28 dc
Row 4: Ch 1 and turn, 1 dc in same st, *4 dc in next ch 2 sp; repeat from*, across, 1 dc in last st. – 54 dc
Rows 5-26: Repeat rows 2 and 3
You will now be working in the round to create a border.
Rounds 1-3: Ch 1 (do NOT turn) work 2 sc in the corner, work 1 sc evenly around the square, placing 2 sc in each corner.
Fasten off and weave in any loose ends.
Wet block to 12×12.
